How does tipping differ in N.A. & Europe? I have heard that its seen as rude to overtip or tip at all? I think they are paid a much better base wage. Enlighten me.
It's also common to give tips, but people in Europe get a much better base wage and are not that dependent on tips. I am not an expert on that, but a tip at a bar or restaurant rarely exceeds 10%. In many cases it's just the change.

Some Euro heads need to learn our tip customs when they come over here. I used to get stiffed all the time by European tourists.
