wow, still not enough daniel gibson talk. i played ball yesterday and i was channeling his spirit. pull up 3s and shit. teardrop floaters. we were down 10-4 in a game to 11 and we just started getting that swagger. with my rag tag bunch of team mates we started the aerial and mental assault and won 11-10. i was guarding the best player on the other team and he was kinda tough for me to guard in the paint. so i pulled out the mental game and crushed his spirit. shit was so dope. thats what ball is all about!!!!!! daniel gibson!!!! what!!!!!!!!
That's what I'm talking about! Unfortunately, all too often, I LOCK DOWN the best player, (I was boxing out a mawfuggin' 6'5" dude yesterday!), make clutch jumpers, be the only dude on the court that can dribble and pass, and we lose by 2. This characterizes like 70% of my games.
growing up in austin I've always been a Spurs fan. Gibson went to UT and played great his freshman year, but didn't do shit his sophmore year... I'm really surprised how well he's played in the playoffs. (I was surprised he was drafted at all to be honest).
I'm rooting for a close series with Gibson & LeBron's continued good play, but I'm still a Spurs fan.
