buying only 1 dvd ever, what movie ?

mmmhhh...I really think this question is not as easy as it seems.........a friend wanted to buy some dvd, so he asked this question to me....he meant some movie WORTH to have on dvd, with some WORTHY special features...I had no suggestion to makethinkin' abt it, maybe Taxi Driver, with the 50 minutes documentary you have any ?

    ..and the best Cohen flick, for sure !

    but it has any special feature worth to buy it on Dvd?

    if you haven't seen it, go rent or buy it now. if you smoke, get nice and high before watching it.

    I thought "Capturing the Friendmans" and "Paid in Full" had some good extras, although I don't think I would recommend either of them as your only purchase ever.

    Big Lebowski gets funnier every time I watch that shit. Special Features are limited.



    Fight Club , Royal Tenenbaums, The Aquatic Life, Eternal Sunshine, ........ahhh fuck it I cant pick one. I got like 200.

    Even though 2001 Space Odyssey, doesnt have any specail features, I would pick that one. Its like the mpc2000 manual, there's somethign new every time you examine it.

    I could not agree more. This is an excellent choice for your one DVD purchase, as repeat viewings reveal countless fascinating details. One of my all time favorite movies.

    ive never seen it. Better than big lebowski? Seems impossible. I guess i better check it out then. But does it bite the blowed?

    almost the perfect movie, really...i haven't seen Glazer's new one yet, Birth. i have to get over the fact that Kidman is in it.

    Yeah, I haven't seen that either. Actually I heard of it but was unaware who was behind it. Time to research.

    this quesiton is one that more based on personal tastes than anything else.

    IMO its really never got better than this on DVD

    this looks promising.

    really, some of you gonna buy 1 movie ever and gonna pick an art flick? i dont get that. i mean, at the most i'll watch one of them arty films twice. the movies i watch over and over again are the shitty comedies like joe dirt, white chicks, beverly hills cop. of course, if i had 1 movie to pick, it would probably be lost in translation cuz that movie is like a episode of my life plus its got a hot girl in it which is timeless as well.

    Gotta give it up to Spinal Tap, probably the only DVD where the Audio Commentary is worthy of repeated listenings.
