Yeah yeah where my working stiffs *HOLLUR*! Let's have another food-strut thread and rep some of the food that we tend to eat on our lunch breaks:Me...Stawberry Nirvana*Veggie Patty from Subway*yes i'm aware this seems mad chick-ish

    I ALWAYS pack my lunch. Too much money wasted on crappy takeout in this country...

    If I'm in a pinch, and need to buy, I go to Chinatown for the Vietnamese Bhan Mi sandwich. Excellent sandwich, and a bargain at $2.50.

    3 days/week I rock a spinach salad with black beans/onion/tomato/lime, and a tortilla on the side.

    2 days/week, its a turkey sandwich.

    Sides:

    Carrots/yogurt/wasabi peas

    I ALWAYS pack my lunch.

    I bring to work every day a yogurt for breakfast and a ham and cheese sandwich with chips for lunch. Pretty boring, but I'm a man of routine. I do it to save time more than money... I get to use my lunch break to hit up the thrifts.

    something new everyday for me. i need that variety in my life.

    today: penne alfredo with some white meat chicken.
    yesterday: breast of chicken and side of mashers
    tuesday: pressed chicken breast sammich with gruyere and onions

    ... so much for variety. i lub chicken.

    we have vendors making presentations almost everyday at work. this almost guarantees a wonderfull, free, catered lunch whenever i'm in the office.

    yeah man I need to start packing my lunch. I pretty each what I posted every damn day and yes! gas is expensive.

    95% of the time it's peanut butter sandwiches, fruit (today is a banana) & a snack bar (today is uncle toby's oven baked apple & cinnamon bar).

    How does it work out that ALL of y'all are health freaks?

    I go out pretty much every day and eat horrible food. Bringing a lunch = trapped at the office eating. I gots to get out! Except on the days when we can score free lunches from vendors and whatnot.

    Today was free BBQ....brisket and sausage. It was good.

    man I work at a restaurant and I never really get around to eating a decent lunch....fish tacos today....when it's gets busy and I'm starving I'll eat some pb&j uncrustables.

    Hmmm. I ate at a random italian joint and had an expensive chicken with pasta dish that was somewhat appealing. Meanwhile, my workmates went across the street (from my work) and got free food from a promotional luncheon. See who got the better end of that deal

    Cole Slaw this lady i work with brought in

    a .39 soda that i dont even know the brand name of

    and about 40 Southern Homes Choco/Vanilla Duplex cookies.

    My shit NEVER floats.

    I don't know Marco, I bought a can of Amy's soup one time and it was simultaneously the most expensive and shittiest canned soup I'd ever consumed. I've been boycotting her ever since.

    I generally only eat fresh food but I'll give those pies a shot if you're cosigning. I wouldn't mess with frozen Mexican food.
