Over the years, we've been blessed by real talented scribes droppin verbal science and capturing the essence like some sort of crate diggin Hemingways. Makin us laugh or makin us stop and think for a minute. Let's get a top 5 GO!!!!

    I appreciate the intelligent conversation from Motown, Vitamin, O-Dub and many, many others. But for talented writing, that will make you laugh, and think, no one comes close to the Soulman.

    Bam is on a whole other level with his intense, personal, soulsearching writing.

    ...and I've actually met him in person. It's like when Ricky Schroeder and Alfonso Ribeiro met Menudo; I was stunned.
    And after I apologized for breaking into his hotel room at The Drake, he was a real dude about it.

    I've always tried to convey to people that the dude talks like how he writes.... dude is as much a pleasure to listen to as to read.

    Ma*k Latency used to be funny, back when he wrote whole sentences, and sometimes even paragraphs! I appreciate his minimalist turn for what it is, but miss his often hilarious essaying.

    Not saying the following aren't good "posters" but I like to read theses folks' posts for different reasons:

    1). The bay homies (hogg, peace-ro, jinx, damn, morrissey code etc etc)
    2). Triple Double
    3). The_MACK
    4). Shig
    5). HermSauce
    6). ed powers
    7). Mel Gibson/Reynaldo
    8). Miss Bassie
    9). Cas (specifically his flacid attempts to "zing" a dude would fall flat....)

    I was a big fan when the NY Hateurs De Regeurs (Faux, Jonny, Rape, and Dr. Brown) would just bully the shit out of folks (Crazypoprock, Hcrink, Reynaldo etc.)
