Just cost me 11.50 at the theatre. rip off?Who else checked it out? What did you think? Best part for me was the supreme charachter stabbing people with his golden jaguar sword. Way too many shower scenes. and umm.....pretty average mildly entertaining flick. Jake one's beat gets some nice screen time, thats pretty cool. Other than that It felt like they basicly glossed up a rapper movie. It wasnt enough of a full blown exploito gangster flick while at the same time not enough of a legitimate drama. Like they didnt know quite where to go with it. Besides the fact that it paints 50 cent as the crack dealer with a heart of gold who eventually turned around to help the neighborhood by dissing the big crack boss at a concert. I like the idea of a semi autobiographical movie though. Basicly i tell you my life story, but im going to lie alot too. What did yall think? Personally Im holding out for Killa season as this years rapper movie champ. I know Coselmed and fauxy were front and center at magic johnson theatres, which begs the question, WAS THE STREETS FELLING IT?

    I'm waiting for T LA Rock's movie instead...

    You shoulda just waited for a torrent to be upped soon.
    Even on Letterman he said, 'Yeah we embellished it to make it more entertaining', and quote unquote..."75% of it is true".

    Worth it to hear the audience reactions during some of the more rediculous moments.

    i just can't believe some theaters are charging $11.50. is this a normal price for movie tickets at big theaters now? the place i go is like $7.50 for an adult / $6.50 student w/ id

    While Cool As Ice is indeed a powerful tale you'd be hard pushed to find a more accurate representation of the struggle involved in making it in the music business than:

    That cool as ice poster is hilarious but leperchaun is classic hilarity remember when he smokes and raps and ends with "i'm going to kill your ass"

    We're going to see it Friday... we both usually work too late to be watching movies on weeknights.

    Yeah I went with wifey to check it out last night. I'll have to say the best part of the movie for us was during the "love making scene" some foll in the back yelled out G-G-G-G-SPOT. Everyone in the whole spot was dyin.

    i dunno, this was the mann's chinese theatre in hollywood. Most movies are kind of expensive out here, but the theatres are AWESOME!

    I'm confused by the 50 moves these days. Somehow, my local campus newspaper scored an interview with him. That's probably the highest profile duder that paper has ever spoken too.

    Jim Sheridan directed this movie?!?! That's almost as weird as pairing Curtis "In Her Shoes" Hanson with Eminem. Wait...

    Personally, I'm waiting on the Lars von Trier-Buck 65 vehicle.

    A real snoozer, if you ask me...What does it say about a movie when a Saturday night interactive viewing experience at the Magic Johnson Theatre can't redeem it?

    That "Through the Wire" segue into the "Sex Scene" was crazy...

    Interestingly enough, it's the second movie I've seen in the last month where I've seen the romanticization of doggy style (the other was G).

    one of the many things i learned from this cinematic masterpiece was that crack was introduced to queens shortly after pac died.



    were there several cops posted outside other showings? i saw it in dc and they were out in full force. which was funny because half the crowd was 13 year olds with their parents. all the kids giggled during the sex scene which was awesome

    ayo. let's face it though upwards of 50% of this fools career is based on his, er, physique (no ayo). you had to know there was gonna be a lot of shower/bedroom isht, right?



    all the kids giggled during the sex scene which was awesome

    i think it goes without saying that everything about this movie was awesome but the most awesome part to which i was refering was the giggling of the kids.
