So, the Harry Fraud tape has totally grown on me. I still skip through about five or six of the tracks - how does Mac Miller have a rap career? - but yea, the rest of it is proper. It's a summer tape.
Anyone like the (free) Yung Simmie (Raider Klan) mixtape that was released earlier this year? Excellent imho. A little bit ignorant but the beats are there.
it's not his voice for me, it's his fucking adlibs.

This isn't exactly the most, er, conventional track on the Telemachus album (which is good), and it's not normally the kind of thing I post in this thread. The video's good, though, and you kinda need to watch it to the end.
Yeah Sunday School 2 definitely doesn't have the impact of the first release but I'll give him a pass for the standards he set himself. Am secretly hoping he's holding back some of his more out there stuff for a paid for release. This is still amazing though:
I'm really confused about the Pusha album, every sensible hunch suggests it will be a mismatch of Ross handmedown beats and old and new songs thrown together clumsily but that track has got me all excited again.
I got the TI filed, but haven't got to it yet - that's promising!
I am sure The Underachievers got mentioned a few pages back? I am enjoying Indigoism a fair bit. They are playing live here next month, will try to catch that.
I had the ipod on shuffle and hit on a song I liked but couldn't place - it was Fiend. I went back to it and I still skipped through most of the first half, but there are some real gems later on.

Not sure what the original source is though..
Yes Yes and Yes.
not the best track on the tape, but Acid Rap is getting heavy play right now. really good.
There is indeed a lot of good stuff going on in this thread right now.
I hope everyone is listening to Acid Rap. Sleeper candidate for mixtape of the year.
:face_melt:
don't LET push get angry.
ughhhhhhh
Any word on new Mystikal?
That beat is fucking insane.

Despite liking some previous tracks, a whole tape of his voice just about drove me nuts - NaNa being the ABSOLUTE WORST.
Acid Rain is on repeat, but the rest makes me real fidgety and not in a good way.
______________
I wanted to love it and maybe over time, I will come to it like I did harry Fraud's Adrift, but Tree's Sunday School 2 is a real let down.
Acid Rain is just fucking beautiful/haunting. Had it on repeat for a while last week.
Possibly NSFW.

"Our Father who art in Heaven, hollows hit my man" is such a dope line.
