Or, er, game begin.
My only time was in Cleveland in '95, a loss for the Indians in game 5, but still worth it. Plus it was by far the last time I wore my Indians Starter Jacket (it was FREEZING).
Enjoy, and go White Sox

i was merely a 10-year old tyke on a school night but this was at the height of my baseball enthusiasm and it took months for my face to regain solidity following gene larkin's hit to left-field with the bases loaded in a scoreless 10th inning.
i personally hope the sox win at home, so game 6 (or 7).
I was soooooo drunk that night, watching the game from a friend's house in St Paul down on Minnehaha Ave. Cuervo Gold shots from the second inning on...whew, what a day after. I get a headache just thinking about it.

They Don't Know (Astros World Series Version)
Advantage: Houston.
I don't know. At least the White Sox have actually WON a World Series. I might have to roll with the Astros out of newbie love. I mean, if this were the Cubs? No question, Chi-City all the way.

Three more to go. 110 is the magic number.
Jeff Bagwell...meet Bobby Jenks.
I hope Clemens is okay.
I can't imagine a game 7, but a middle school night game will change ones life. Although I made it back for school the next day after my world series visit.
Most disapointing missed school for a baseball game ever:
Missing learning the quadratic formula day of algebra in 8th grade to watch under 10 pitches of the Cincinnati Reds opener and an umpire die on the field.
= Bobby Jenks, Sr.
you must be going nutz in the rain at the moment
cot damn
Yah that call on Dye was straight up wrong.
Great game, holy fuk.
And fuck the umps.
Dude. It was a good game but c'mon.
For one thing, it can't be that raw when everyone NOT a White Sox fan is going to beef about that hit batter call.
Somewhere, the Angels are readying a care package for the Astros.
