I love that record, is it really goin for that much now? Got my copy for maybe $15 last year.
this goes for under $100?
How bout Demon Fuzz? Is that considered funk/soul? prob not...
Seriously? Aside from his cut of "Soul Man," this was always the weak link in the People catalog to me. I haven't played it in a couple of years though, and I definitely like a lot of soul stuff now that I wasn't feeling back then.
Neither $50 to $100 nor that great. And I am very much a sweet soul/vocal group type of dude.
agreed. $30 LP and worth about $20 IMO
I would call it more of Jazz Funk, and while it's cool I wouldn't put it on a Best Of list.
I don't know man, I scored mine at The Sound Library a year or so ago for $75. Was about VG+ condition or so. Perfectly playable, some regular wear, nothing too terrible.
Dude, Paycheck and aleit both told me that it slips though the cracks - and at $5, it did. So, I am putting that karma on you to find it for even less. We'll need to see a thumbs-up pic though, OK?
don't be fooled by the Funkyou! auction hype, it does indeed go for under a bill
I'm sure that they'd appreciate hearing all about it from you.
212.598.9302: get at 'em, Steeler.
This one and the Counts "what's up front that counts" both nice 40-50 dollar lp's imo.
Good pick
I think you would officially be having a good day if you found a really clean copy of that for under a bill.
How about $90 c/o Jumpjump
