Because you can tell from listening to it that it was made by a kid in his bedroom with cheap as chips technology and bags of enthusiasm for weird drums.
YES, YES, and YES!!!!. Thank you for the heads up on this record. WOW. Found it and
gave it a listen. Absolutely made my week that much better. 1969, WOW. Sounds so
fresh and aggressive and Massive and unapologetic. Rock out with your cock out.
Moody and overflowing with swagger and deep deep musicianship. Heavy. Love it.!!
More please. (head nods or finger points towards similar records please)
By the way, just noticed that 'One Way Glass" is a track I knew from an eclectic mix
from years ago the name of which escapes me now. I Just know that that track burned
a memory in my mind and now it is somewhat satisfying to know where it came from
and I can now wallow in the ecstasy of the rest of the album. So effin' good!
So feeling this song, I'm just bummed I didn't hear it sooner because I would have played it all summer. I need a vinyl copy badly. Once again Gilles Peterson turns me on to something great:

Still jonesing for this R&B sound. Can't stop listening to this tune. Kills it at places in Sydney that I play it at too.
peace, stein. . .
Just copped the Hanky Panky LP at the flea market recently and this track surprised me. Wish it was a 45 B-side though...
Only complaint is it could be 3mins longer
