Shit, we're rooting for ze Germans.
Wtf is happening to the world.
Anyways, now Woi has bought a bit of admiration, hopefully he can ditch the old guard and the younger fails, get new and fresh in and do summat in about 4 years.
Heh.
I think the latter is a good deal more possible than it has been for a long time.
The first 10 minutes of the game should have given England the confidence to go on and win.
Italy looked easy to score against. Then everybody took a shit.
Part of the problem with the "boring" Spanish is that teams now fully recognise their superiority and play them accordingly i.e., chelsea in the champions league style, parking the bus, 10-0-0, etc... So it seems a bit churlish to moan about the Spanish when it's usually their opponents who are responsible for killing the game. Also smacks of sour grapes from lesser-footballing nations who think that hoofing it to the big man and "brave" tackles is what football should be about.
Out in the quarters on pennos is about right. I had no rage to control last night.
For all the "Pirlo this, Pirlo that" chat, they never scored, and we did create scoring chances. We are never going to be completing the same number of passes as those sides as we don't play that way, but as Doc said, it's no shame to have remained on our feet for 15 rounds against a technically better opponent. We didn't do any better because we gave the ball away too much. If he can change that, we might be onto something. We are short 2 decent midfielders and played as such, tactically.
The Good (better than expected):
The back 4 being resilient.
Parker.
Carroll putting in a shift.
Wellbeck.
The Bad (worse than expected):
Rooney
Gerrard
Milner
The Ugly (Shouldn't have been there):
Ashley Young
Agree with all of this.
Especially the giving away the ball part. Was driving me crazy.
Like I said in the beginning either Germany or Spain. But the Spanish better not try to play the same game they did against France.

If Diamanti can stay focused with *that* in his eyeline, one can only wonder what unspeakable horrors caused him to fall on his arse at Upton Park while taking a penalty for West Ham against Liverpool. He scored that one, too, IIRC.
This is the kind of atmosphere I'm looking forward to from a South American World Cup:
Potugal to do Spain tonight? Big class of styles in that Portugal are relying on 1 egotistical, narcissist player, while Spain's ethos of team-before-individual seems to raise the standards (and repuatations) of all involved. I'm actually hoping to see Portugal win.

Talking of Facebook pics - there's a pic going around with the tagline "Don't make me angry" with quite possibly the most perfect set of tits I've seen.
so who amongst you will dare to do the unthinkable and support the azzuri...against los boringos
hopefully balotelli will get overconfident and selfish
balzaretti and the back 4 are solid as fuck
diamanti/derossi/pirlo is some sturdy ass shit
spains missing striker theorem will be put to the test
they should put in mata to fuck with them
a defensive/possesive chill with a strong possibility of flopping is the forecast
penalties would be awful

What's the story behind it?
Ribery is a twat, and Swedish dude was just rubbing it in?
Also, just noticed that Arsenal won the Argentinian league this year.
FUCKING GET IN!
No idea - probably just trying to wind him up before the game.
They are great..
