I've had several hundred copies of a Boston random rap comp from 1986 called Boston Goes Def. Hundreds each of some 12"s too, as I believe you know. You should really let me holler at one of those Soul Searchers joints though!
I'm still in a folk-rock phase with The Mamas and The Poppas, Peter, Paul and Mary, James Taylor, and of course. Simon and Garfunkel. But I have a lot of vocal groups like Jackie and Roy in my collection.

Those are all good artists, some of whom I had on constant rotation when I was an undergrad. I burned out on folk, but maybe I just need to give those old records another spin.

It might be a while before I revisit The Mamas and The Poppas again, all for reasons non-music related. But now that I think of it, I have a heavy West Coast jazz and classical collection. Vince Guaraldi is major in my collection, mainly because he was the first jazz musician I could remember listening to as a kid. Plus the Charlie Brown specials never hurt.
I haven't counted in a long time, but I'm quite sure James Brown is in the lead.
