yeah, 14 shots! Philly was badly outplayed in the first period but came alive in the second. The took their foot off the gas in the third, but it was enough to win. It's like they out-Jerseyed Jersey. Kovalchuk was awesome, but couldn't solve Boucher. Crazy!
yeah it was. I almost think it was a good thing for Phoenix that they drew Detroit in the first round. They seem to thrive on the whole "nobody thinks we can win" scenario, and bouncing the Wings would be a nice slingshot forward into the later rounds. Not that I'm considering Detroit done by any stretch of the imagination - this just looks like a 7-game series that could go either way.
