I'll have you know I was the master of Bowser bitd. The main game was a walk in the park - it was all about the beating of time trials for me and my gang, the pleasure derived from shaving off milliseconds from Ghost Valley 1 best time was a pleasure still nearly unrivalled in modern gaming. I used to wake up in the morning to the sounds of the Valley and know where people were on the track from the tyre noises :(

    I TAKE ON ALL CHALLENGERS.

real men (and women) play strictly snes mariopoptartkart

i do have a soft spot for wiiriokart though, majorly enjoyable. but not such a skillfest

Kong all day riding over your butt, jnr.
Y'all be talmbout Bowzer lap records, bumping some Z-Ro, and then

BOOM! Ragga Jungle in the tape deck and BANGLASH all over the place, Kong lapping your poor Bowzer, all out of coins and getting pwned by 7th place Princess.

Ah hell no, having road tested both for hours on end I found Bowser to require the most skill to move that hulking shell but the rewards were worth every bit of effort.

You'd be all like, oh wow I got round the track without hitting the edges and managed the first shortcut jump, retire to your room to celebrate with some moody loops and then before you know it the big green one would have left that chunky hairy arsed ape crying as each record was ripped apart.

I need some advice from London strutters. I've been in Bristol long enough and need to move to get a job i'm actually interested in, but I have no clue about which areas of London are best to move to or what kind of salary job i'd need to be able to live ok there (on a budget). I'd like to live somewhere that's quite vibrant and near by to the good things, and not somewhere like Slewisham.
    Any help appreciated!
p.s. Apologies to any Lewisham people I have offended (although there is a good record shop there).

That dress is like one of those abstract 70s animations, brought to you by the letters A S & S.

Her dress sense is frankly bizarre, but god damn, would I like to feel those elbows.

    This is probably the problem:

"<meta name="keywords" content="music, listen to music online, music community, record collectors, reggae, vinyl records, funk, soul, old school, psych, DJ mixes, record stores, classifieds, trip hop, samples, breaks, Mingering Mike, drums">"

They will have a keyword scanner to block out sites containing one or more of the "Flag" keywords above. I will wager the meta tags in the old site were not as crass.

#1 son was playing this yesterday - Rainbow Road is like... OUT THERE. Dare I say it doe, but too hi-res these days - the days of DK time trialling on the SNES, Ghost Valley wooden track, pixel-perfect on each corner, does not seem possible with the fuzzy technology.

Maybe my eyes are just going?

Thanks for the thought Moke. None of these sites can get past my IT nazis. They're all based in India these days, so I can't influence them. I was tempted to say they're untouchable. Anyways they're a bunch of jobsworths, but next time I step to Mumbai there will be ructions. Reckon Jimster is right, something in the new-look site has kiboshed my daily posting m.o., so cheers for that RAJ.
Bitter? Never that, son. Well, just a bit then.
Naturally I will pop in from time to time, but best believe my spare time in the evenings and weekends is extremely limited what with kids, homework, ironing blah blah blah, and there is little temptation to respond to days-old discussions.
On the upside, making serious inroads into chunky bits of work that had hitherto been neglected. And that's all you need, right kids? Investment bankers doing more of god's work.

It's probably the "minge" in "Mingering Mike" that's causing the trouble (Scunthorpe-related)

  • JimsterJimster Cruffiton.etsy.com 6,946 Posts
Meta tag from old site was thus:

<meta name="description" content="SOUL STRUT.COM IS THE #1 HIP HOP CULTURE WEB SITE ON THE NET GEARED TOWARDS THE RECORD COLLECTING DJ AND PRODUCER. TONS OF REVIEWS, AUDIO STREAMS, FEATURES, AND A LIVELY MESSAGE BOARD.">
<meta name="keywords" content="crate digging, funk, hip hop, soulstrut, soulstrut.com, soul strut, soul, psych, records, 45s">

On a scale of 1-10, how cheaky would it be asking der Rajmeister to tweak it?

    RAJ,

Skel complaining the site is now blocked at work for him since going to the next level. I think the issue is something in the meta tag being picked up as profanity in the UK. See, Mingering Mike, his name has the word "Minge" in there, which as you may or may not know, is UK slang for a lady's front bottom.

The old site's meta tag was less likely to feature anything which the n4zi web content sweepers would pick up as "Bad" and block the site as a result. I offer this information to you as is. Now, it's not for me to tell you what is important to the site. No. That's not my style. But thing is, we miss the old bastard (skel, not Mingering Mike).

    Can we deal?

HE MAY OR MAY NOT DEAL.

Hey British dudes and Strut people.

I'm not going to be on for a week or more, as I'm finally going into hospital for my operation to try and remove this tumor.

Hopefully all will go well and I will be back talking shit with you and making bad jokes, before you've even noticed I've gone.

You'll breeze it dude. I expect to be having a Frank discussion with you in time for the final, by which point Lampard had better be spraying passes out wide to SWP and incisive through balls for Rooney.
