Quote:/font1h,121b,121/font1Quote:/font1h,121b,121BTW on the subject of Dee Dee - I need an mp3 of "How High The Moon" from the Charley Records Sampler CD that I had stolen years ago and have nevarr seen since. This is a live version, not the one off "Live in Paris" though - this one is way better.b,121b,121Gemm don't have it either. b,121b,121h,121
font class="post"1b,121b,121Uv been lookin for this for a while right? b,121b,121h,121font class="post"1b,121b,121Since before it was recorded, even. Well, just seems like it. It was a good sampler, it had some stuff I would have finger-crucifixed before, like "Cadillac Assembly Line" and the OG "Johnny B Goode" but with enough beer and volume, these could be dug as they were intended. Fug an X-Factor.
If: the ink from the jacket rubs off on your fingers, the graphics are blurry, the colors are off, the font of the text on the label is ugly, it makes your dog wince, and you hear CD skips, then it's definitely the repress.

font class="post"1b,121b,121I can only enjoy it if the original session players perform the album note for note live for me in an acoustically perfect studio. b,121b,121h,121font class="post"1b,121b,121In fact, I have changed my mind, as these reconstructions of the original soundwaves aren't quite OG enough.b,121Now, I will only listen to re-interpretations of said music made by 1 year olds uninfluenced by the rigid dogma of accepted musical norms, playing atonal, arhythmic and amodal improvisations using 'found' instruments such as pans, cupboard doors and wooden spoons.b,121b,121b,121b,121b,121b,121b,121b,121b,121b,121Oh wait, that's 'Ornette Colman Live'. b,121b,121h,121font class="post"1b,121b,121 img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/oj.gif" alt="" 21
