Has there been a thread about this? b,121b,121I love BBE's Beat Generation series. It's a cool concept that allows producers to spread their wings and do what they damn please. The reviews for Madlib's installment (reportedly the label's last in the series) seem positive so far and yet the ones I have read tend to fawn over anything he touches as gold already. b,121b,121What's the Strut consensus? Does it fall into his lazy Yesterday's New Quintet stuff or his more-inspired, well-rounded stuff like, say, i1Madvillainy[/i]?b,121b, 21My top four Beat Generation series:b,121b,1211.)
