    put half in the bank and use the other half to invest in an entertainment event this summer and make it all back and then some and then put that in the bank and have even a bigger down payment on a casa!!!

    With that being said would you like to invest about $10K into an event?! I'm serious. If the answer is yes then get at me asap.

    Talk to my brother (he's a stock broker) and figure out if it would make more sense to pay down my student loans to about $3000 or invest and continue to pay outrageous sums of interest on the loans.

    Or rock a down payment on a rental property? Man, I really don't know enough about finance.

    Take $14,000 and do smart stuff with it. Add some to the house fund, retirement fund, and a couple other spots.

    $6,000 would be for fun. Some travel, some indulgence.
