    It ain't about any guilt on my part...it's about you saying he should be able to get away with it because he is black. Silly shit right there.

    Look, if you told me that you don't think he should be prosecuted because of some lack of evidence, or you don't believe he is guilty, well, that would be a fine by me.

    But, saying, 'i think he did it, but he should be able to get away with it...' well, that is on some ignant ass shit, my friend.

    AND, while I will never argue that our legal system is not heavily weighted against minorities...

    This is a different legal situation, that involves a lot more ego, money, and fame than the average case, and should be looked at differently.

    I just think it's bullshit that he's being made the
    fallguy for MLB's passive stance on steroids and
    performance enhancements - Bonds is one of literally
    thousands of pro athletes who have used, and one of
    MANY who denied it in court. Yes, lying under oath is
    a very bad thing, but this dude having to take the fall
    for the entire steroid scandal is complete bullshit IMO.

    And for the record, I don't think he's the scapegoat because
    he's Black, I think it's because he's so hated. MLB and the
    government were afraid to touch any of the more popular players,
    so they've spent years building a case against someone that a
    huge segment of the population will enjoy seeing burned. Disgusting.

    Isn't that the thing tho. He's not being busted for steroids. But for lying under oath. To Congress no less. Which, I might be wrong. But is a pretty big deal.
