These are not low-key actors, but usually with secondary roles
Benicio Del Toro
Ed Harris
Chazz Palminteri
[i]Full cast and crew for
The Last Dragon (1985)[/b]
Chazz Palminteri ... Hood #2
John Cazale is easily one of my top 10 actors of all time. Apparently Cimino filmed his parts in the Deer Hunter first because he knew Cazale was dying of cancer.
I can't come up with a complete list right now, but I nominate Clancy Brown.
Dude from Training Day and played Escobar in Blow. This dude is so ill - waiting for him to get some more leading roles.
Mike Mazurki[/b]
Wrestler-turned-actor Mazurki was the archetypical Hollywood heavy,
appearing in over 150 films and TV shows from 1934-1990. He is a mainstay
in film noirs, and played such famous pulp characters as Sam Cragg and
Moose Malloy - and played them well. Many of his credits are for brief
scenes where a thug or fighter was needed, but others were major speaking
parts. And no matter what the role, whenever he is on screen, your eyes are
on nothing but him.

and I can't help but love this girl. All my female friends hate her. I guess I can see why.
Oh, if it's gonna be like THAT then...
S-W- - -N!
HELL YES!!!
I swear Serg needs to play him in the movie of his life.
no homo, but she's hot.
great googly moogly. i don't think she's underated per se, but damn.
i don't know if people rememember Mean Magazine before it became Details dudeish frat boy step brother, but the scarlett jo interview when ghost world came out was entertaining as hell. i like ScarJo but she's stiff as an actress. i like that she has a thing for over 30 somethings when most kids her age in the spotlight are dating the hills reality tv stars. and i think it's hilarious that she can't remember if she had sex with benicio in the elevator. "we either had sex or made out i don't remember." WTF?
I like the fact that SHE instigated it!
GO FOR YOURS, GIRL!
ummmmm...? i've heard the story before, but still...ummmmm?
hahaha!
I think she's dope. I like her voice, her personality. Her realness, no fake tits and shit.
I do agree though, not underrated.
Scarly's tenderoni for life. She's done been my number 1 for a minute now....her acting is decent at best....but that voice? jesus h. her and
but this is about acting....my bad...
I love Ned Beatty even if for years my brain could never remember which filsm were his and which were M. Emmet Walsh's .
I first saw Maria Bello in a season of E.R. around 10 years ago and thought she had a real heavy and compelling presence when on screen. I thought similar when I saw her as the wife in "History of Violence." I hear she was in "World Trade Center" and "Coyote Ugly" but I didn't see those.
anyhow-eliizabeth shue-even if just for leaving las vegas
I know everybody loves him for The Big Lebowski and all, but The Dude has been THAT DUDE for a long-ass time;
Can't forget the ladies. Mad underrated;
Less so, but still deserving of more props than they get, imho;
I completely agree.
Wow.
I was just gonna say Luiz.
Dude makes me laugh all the time.
Cosignature. It is nice to see dude getting more props and recognition. Let's face it, he pretty much stole the show in Boogie Nights.
"People tell me I look like Han Solo."
Hardest working man in the business
He's always been compelling. And the dude got some incredible range. Peep "Angels In America" (where he plays 3 different charachters) to "Syriana" and I still can't beleive it's the same guy.
