I will now give the Chargers some love. No matter who wins, to play this game largly without LdT, and maybe have to end without Rivers, SD has shown some SERIOUS balls.
Apparently, the Norv Turner neuter wasn't as bad as I thought...
Colts D looks TIRED. Chargers are taking it to them with second-stringers, holy crap! The tension is high ... which team will earn the right to lose to New England?

And, then Gonzalez moved into the end zone. Ouch.
I appreciate your half-hearted respect. See you in the AFC Championship!

No half-hearted about it...y'all earned it, and I'll see you for sushi at the afc championship party this saturday!
Taunt the crowd like that in Foxboro, and he'll be going home in a full body cast, for real.
OK, tough guy. Gimme a break.
Whatever, dude. Obviously I'm joking about the cast - but this kid is a terd. Did you SEE him getting into it with the Indy fans? What kind of self-respecting professional athlete does that? Especially a quarterback, who should be a leader?

You sound sore. Bolts overcame a hostile Indy crowd, biased refs that wanted them to lose, a number of injuries, and won against the defending Superbowl champs. Rivers has earned the right to celebrate.

i agree. there's a difference between being amped and being arrogant. it was a good game either way. by the way, who the F is volek??? dude was clutch.
He's a classless punk, no doubt. I don't really care for the players on either AFC team, though.
I hear ya. For the first time in a really long time, I'm more excited about the NFC championship game than I am the AFC, regardless of who wins the game tonight. A Colts/Pats game would've been intriguing, but I have little interest in watching 2 teams I dislike. The Super Bowl on the other hand, as long as the Chargers don't upset the Pats, is shaping up to be HUGE. Any of the 3 squads remaining in the NFC will be the best & most complete team that the NFC has sent in quite a few years.
Like it or not, if Eli goes to the NFC championship the day Peyton "blew it" in the AFC, it will be the storyline of the postseason. As long as the Cowboys don't let Romo hold on any kicks, they still have a shot
Following that game on footballoutsiders game thread *(yes, i am that big a loser) someone pointed out... 4th and 11, season on the line...and Jason Witten stays in to block.
agree on cancun, rock. while romo is getting killed for that decision, brady was in nyc laying the wood to his famous girlfriend...and not hearing a peep about it.
The Colts/Cowboys/Tampa vs. Pats/Giants are giving a good argument to playing starters in week 17, and not resting folls.

he didn't need to jump like that, he could have
just side-stepped to throw ... I love it ...

Gotta give Eli and the Giants props.

Best of luck to the Packers.
Plaese to beat those bitches up in Beantown.
???
Jason Garrett. Next coaching superstar.
Going to Cancun didn't mean shit.
They just didn't do it on the field.
Congrats to the Giants.
Now somebody beat those Patsy's and the year won't be a total loss.
The Colts/Cowboys/Tampa vs. Pats/Giants are giving a good argument to playing starters in week 17, and not resting folls.
If Garrett gets an offer to be a Head Coach elsewhere I think Wade will be gone and Jerry Jones will match/beat any offer to keep Jason in Dallas.
You must figure that Garrett has essentially been coaching them all season, anyhow.
