House music from '97 to '07: what's good?

Partly inspired by the Daft Punk thread...I've got the early house years pretty well covered, but my knowledge of dope house trax of the past ten years (with the exception of Baltimore stuff) is very spotty- a little Daft Punk here, a little Armand Van Helden there, some Felix Da Housecat...etc. Anyone care to shed some light on the best house records of the last ten years? Maybe some top ten lists?

Not House Music
"U Don't Know Me," "Flowerz" and that one song w/ the puerto rican chick talking about how she wants to have sex w/ you = classics
couldn't listen to anything he's done recently though...turned into a 'dancerock artist'
But 97-07.....?
sample slayer was dope. i dont claim to know anything about house music, but there were some useful tracks on there that i still play today (word up doc, reservoir dogs).
While Armand ain't anything near the greatest. You can't deny he's got some pretty decent tracks.
Tho I think "U Don't Know Me" was the last track he ever did that I liked.
can't claim comprehensiveness, house has been something i've been exploring for about 3 years in between rap releases but consider it more of a personal list
1. CZR - Chicago House Experience (1997)
2. Basement Jaxx - Rooty (2001)
3. Theo Parrish - Parrallel Dimension (2000)
4. Moodymann - Black Mahogani (2004)
5. Luomo - The Present Lover (2003)
6. Michael Mayer - Immer (2002)
7. Archigram - Crydamour Presents Waves II (2003)
8. V/A - Get Physical 2nd Anniversary (2004)
9. Mei Lwun Presents Uno Compilation, Vol. 1 (2004)
10. Green Velvet - Green Velvet (2000)
that green velvet is technically a comp of stuff from earlier but since most of that shit was only avail. on 12" before i figure what the hell
some more - the rest of the Basement Jaxx albums and the two Atlantic Jaxx compilations, Derrick Carter's "About Now," Roy Davis Jr "Traxx from the Nile", Deep Dish's "Yoshiesque," Armand Van Helden's "2 Future 4 U," various releases on Kompakt (total 3&4 esp), Luomo's debut, Herbert's "Around the House" & "Bodily Functions," Superpitcher's "Today," kind of veering in and out of techno here tho.
honestly one of the best things to do if yr into trad-style house is go to http://www.deephousepage.com/ and check out some of the mixes...
1. Blaze, Productions
2. Isolee, Rest (not really "house" per say but who cares)
3. Derrick Carter, Squaredancing in a Round House
4. Greens Keepers, the Ziggy Franken Show
5. Anything by Theo Parish, Moodyman, Norma Jean Bell, etc.
Ill have to go brew a cup of coffee and look through my records before I come back and name em.

Early Glagow Underground Recordings
Basement Jaxx ???Fly Life???

Yeah, I'm kind of feeling the Green Velvet stuff I've heard. Sometimes the lyrics could be a little bit more minimal and/or less self-consciously "inspirational", but the beats are pretty hard to hate on.
The only Cassius track I know is "La Mouche", which hints at better things, but doesn't knock me out or anything. Are there any tracks in particular to seek out?
Matthew Herbert

But alot of this stuff is is either House w/ healy "Electronica" leanings or Afro Breakbeat....

Cosign. That album is so nice. I have Science Fiction on my iPod right now, but I don't like it quite as much.

Anything on the Dirtybird label...well almost anything. Some of it can get to be too rave-like for me.
Especially Claude Von Stroke is the best bet.
FreeRange records are always nice as well. It can go from deep to funky.
