Superior Sophmore Efforts? (RR)

So, I tend to be a debut album guy, where I find I love a lot of artists' first albums more than anything else in their catalog. There're all kinds of reasons - artists are "hungry", spend much longer writing material before they get a deal than they do once the label is expecting a follow-up, etc. But I've been listening to the new LCD Soundsystem album, Sound of Silver, and it's even better than the first, in my opinion, despite the fact that I've been eagerly awaiting it and loved the first album. So, what you got? I'd argue that Cypress Hill's Black Sunday is better than the S/T. The Pixies, you could argue produced better albums from Come On Pilgrim, through Surfer Rosa and Doolittle,, although many would debate the better of the last two. Someone mentioned the other day that Life After Death is better than Ready to Die, and I can buy that. What else?

This is just crazy talk. Illmatic is unfadeable.
I'm pretty sure his picks were intended as jokes.
