I love that Nana Mclean it's almost countryish female jamaican pop, there's a big joe toast on the same version that's worth picking up if your into the sound.
i went digging all over the place this weekend. before i smack some heads about my 'fake finds' --i'll just say look at some of my previous finds from a month or so ago--particularly on some blues 78s. the $$$ i made from those sure weren't fake ya haters!
yall are going bananas! all i found was a copy of CEB get the point. wait, i did find a clean Yellow sunshine...i gave dude a dollar and he was like "how bout fifty cents?" i said, "no, a dollars cool" and he insisted, "i got fifty cents change for you" and pulled out a handful of change. i plucked two dimes out his hand and compromised, "eighty cents and we call it even". it was an odd exchange.
Im visiting my home in the bay and i went to the big store yesterday and came to remember how combed over that place is. none the less i got a few jazz and soul joints nothing too special. The main ingredient - Euphrates river Billy Preston - Billy's bag Billy Preston - I wrote a simple song best of new birth Raberta flack and donny - ST Eddie Harris - Bad luck is all i have Jack McDuff - the 4th dimension Deodato - Artistry Crusaders - chain reaction Gato barberi - El Gato (
then i went to the Kusf show with only like 45 minutes before a friend had to pick me up and picked up denis coffey - evolution (kinda skated on) Ramsey - funky serinity Lonnie Liston Smith - Cosmic funk (strait skated on near unlistenable, I was in a hurry and couldnt check condition but feel like i got jerked. Conclusion: dont go to record shows with not enough time. plus i didnt even get to check more than half the show which was a dissapointment but i had a great day post recrod show.)
Horace Silver- Serenade to a Soul Sister Rotary Connection- Aladdin Benny Carter- Further Definitions (clean mono) Heatwave- Too Hot to Handle (mint) Lovelace Watkins- Love is
naw, I'm not moisting my pants right now. I just have heard about this cat, but I thought his music never got released. Now I'm learning the error of prior misbelief.

Yes someone at Tuff City told me about all this unreleased Fugi stuff they were putting out. At first I moisted my pants, then I heard it. I think "unreleased" sometimes means "unreleased on our label"
also got bar kays - black rock bloomfield, hammond,dr john - triumvirate strictly breaks - vol 3 bb king - to know you is to love you kris kristoferson - jesus was a capricorn kris kristoferson - me & bobby mcgee pailhead - i will refuse beach boys - wild honey duane allman - anthology
45's mercy - fire ball (sundi) hot - just cause i'm guilty (big tree) bill cosby - hush hush/little ol man (wb)
all the records were cheap which I like except for babe ruth $7 and kraftwerk $5
Somebody once sold a Modern Talking collection to my old record store - 4 crates of the stuff ... and when I did the research, I found out that was only around 10% of their output ... those motherfuckers spent ALOT of time in the studio!
