anyways, hi b-ro, hi rossi, hi bunny pat. i hope the bay is still there and being lovely as usual. i was recently trying to describe to a friend my favorite taco shop up north and, whilst doing some research, i have discovered that it had been demolished and in its place, a prefab, stuccolated minimallesque version of itself. it pains me so as one of the coolest things about tres amigo's [off the cabrillo st. fwy CA-1 in half moon bay] was its architecture. see, it was originally a stand, or so i assume, and then they added the dining area but it was real macguyver contract work so it wound up looking like a baja taqueria. and it sat about 2 blocks from some state park tide pools. i loved that place. what else is missing? i heard they closed down hunts donuts on 20th & mission not long after i left. that made me sad. there was a really hot asian girl that worked there. i kid you not.
