Alladin is the shit. Definitely the guy I'd most like to be able to scratch like. I also gotta give it up to Tat Money and DJ Scratch.

    largest influences on me personally:

    mr dibbs
    d-styles
    rob swift
    q-bert
    mixmaster mike

not saying they're the best - these days i'd have to include people like excess, toadstyle, mike boo, ricci rucker, woody etc. but without those 5, i wouldn't make the shit i do make

    - i bite each and every one of em

    mr dibbs

    how'd i forget that one.

tune wise, DJ EQ used to lay it down HARD. props to bomb hip-hop - the return of the dj comps were ill on that front. it was the first place i'd really heard DJ tracks outside of on albums with emcees on em, so to get a whole lp? dayum. i hadn't heard of z-trip or radar before then and i'd never heard proper tracks by spinbad and js-one.

I gotta give it up for my man Dj Bonez. He's an aussie dj who regularly does stuff I've never seen before. Crazy business, although he's not a huge "name".

showing my new-jack-ness, i gotta say that revolution's cuts on some of the "this or that" interludes blew my mind.

can't argue with either of those sentiments.

i should've mentioned melo-d and babu, they were a major influence. props to dj day - i heard a track he did with exile (who i'm liking more the more i hear) which is damn nice. props to oakland faders - i'm feelin them lately. 89 skratch gangstaz - pone & snayk eyz. ill. i always loved mr things cuts too. astro is ill. shouts to dee swift from back then... sheffield representahhhhh. would've been sick if he wasn't such a hermit

I can cosign all the DJs dropped before, so I have not to repeat them.
The DJ's from the 80s are especialy dope because they scratched in a "musical" way while most of the DJs today scratch in a "technical" way.

But I have to mention 2 forgotten heros too.

DJ Icy C of the Miami Boyz is extremly dope.

Mixmaster Ice of UTFO is also a scracth god, his cuts on "Wanna Rock" are not brilliant and the scratches on that whole LP are
