Hey Drew,
I can't call it, bruh!!! But, I'll name some joints (off the dome, in no particular order):
-"Bass Machine"-T La Rock (Mantronik ridiculousness given this was '86). -"Silence the Lambs" (Remix)-Showbiz & AG. -"Krak da' Weazel (Remix)-Da King & I (Majesty came with it).. -"Masta IC"-Mic Geronimo (Buckwild sickness).. -"Rock On" (Remix)-Funkboobiest (Buckwild, oh my!!!!). -"Bucktown"-Smif N' Wessun (Beatminerz all day!!!!). -"Man on the Street"-The Ultramagnetic MCs (Godfather Don got busy!!!). -"Mecca & the Soul Brother" (Remix)-Pete Rock & CL Smooth. -"For Better or For Worse"-The Pharcyde (J-Swift was sooooo ill!!!). -"Wildchild"-Da Youngstas (Beatnuts!!!!). -"Tic Toc" (Remix)-Lords of the Underground (was this K-Def or Buckwild?). -"Word is Bond"-House of Pain (I love how Diamond rocked "Snow Frolic" Ooooooooo, oo, oo, oo oo, oooooo, oooooooooooooo.....). -"The Rhyme" (Remix)-Keith Murray (Jay Dee is so damn dope!!!!). -"McNasty Filth" and "Official"-Jaylib (Don't sleep on Lib!!!!).
Peace,
Big Stacks from Kakalak
Wow - good calls - a lot of really good calls. I myself would have to go with the Silence The Lambs original - that upright sample and flute combo is retarted -with the thems skull snaps drummys all chopped up - way too ill. But Wild Child is the shit and the Rock On remix is dumb fresh.
Actually, that's the one I meant. That flute sample was beautiful!!! Dope arrangement. So, I'll edit my post.

I went bananas over that beat. I think it was Buckwild's first production although he was credited as co-producer if I'm not mistaken (anyone who got more info on this song. Please come forward)
Jeru Da Damaja - Come Clean[/b]
For obvious reasons Ir was something new for my ears
Ed O.G & Da Bulldogs - I Gotta Have It[/b]
This is my favorite music video from the Yo MTV Raps era
This was my number 1 sample until T.R.O.Y. came along 12 years ago I was at a Dj's house who so kindly let us young'uns peruse his records for samples. Had the Bohannon album in my hand but I was only interested in Save Our Souls Had to find that out through the Internet
Bj??rn J??son Lindh -- Your Own House Aceyalone - "Makeba"
Michael Howell -- In the Silence"
haven't heard either of those, but makeba is such a good song. I don't care what anybody says, aceyalone is dope.
been buggin me forever.... I think I remember hearing a Mumbles sample on a Bjorn Lindh record, ramadan or couscous maybe, but the main sample is maybe on the Michael Howell? I'll have to check it out..........
got flipped a little for the Book of Human Language intro...

the byorn lindh record is where the drums came from, but i don't remember that michael howell record being used on there.
i skimmed through this thread and didn't see another mention of "black superman". i can't be the only one who thinks that this is one of the best beats of all time now, could i??
i don't really hate it, but i do think it is way overrated. for a dope beat that features a kick and rimshot, i'd go with "paper thin".
I may get hated on but T.R.O.Y. ain't in my list.
actually it's not on mine either. i've been listening to pr's soul survivor alot lately solely because of one reason:

and surprised it got this far without mentioning...
I can't even get into the thought process of thinking what the sickets beat I've ever heard is, but at the moment the Lil Wayne - Best Rapper Alive beat is fucking fire.
Hatters - think what you want of Lil Wayne but this beat is straight
