here I am posing in a down low spot AVEC FOLKWAYS. ("music of the manindanao in the philippines" - heavy on the gong, recorded really hot into a battery powered tap recorder!) Shop proprieter is telling a funny story about scalping tickets in NYC circa 1954. Was a great day to drive along the coast, mid 70s and pure blue sky.
Oh and last night I went to see the feminist group guerilla girls speak. I volunteered for a skit, of course it was imasculating. I ended up parading around in a skirt and tiara on in front of a few hundred cute stetson undergrads and feminists with gorilla masks on. Very dope. You know, whatever, I got to chill with THE GUERILLA GIRLS BOYOS.
Probably my favorite Coltrane LP.
Found some nice records. Will check this collection out again tomorrow.
(Dave Van Ronk - Folk Singer on Prestige. Really great record)

All of these were $2. Peace to Rape Deez. I also grabbed a sealed Nard and Rasa (double/trade) and some other misc. things.
Modern soul and a nature on a beautiful day.
Enjoy them jawns and if you find yourself not liking them starpoints or that Heaven & earth you know who to call.
(BTW I still ain't forgot about that Breakin' Bread, I got ya whenever you need)
I'm pretty sure most of these are vintage pressings, but if anyone can give me some advice on how to tell reissues from OG's on the Jamaican stuff I would be eternally grateful. Believe it or not all the records are in pretty nice shape and play great. That Monomono record is wicked afro-psych-funk.
Wow, you must be psyched, nice score. Have you checked that Ken Boothe yet? Just wondering what it's like, never seen it before...damn, did I say nice score??
