Yes, I have the GER pressing too. There is actually a spanish pressing, and somehow I thought that maybe a US one as well.

  • No US pressing of "everything" that I know of...

sam bros is straight zydeco so yes, by definition accordian "all over it".

They have a couple lps like this one with an anomalous funk tune, but the rest is southwestern louisiana zydeco. they were probably from the Crowley / Lafayette area- acadia.

It's Ronnie & The Ramblers- pretty straight ahead bahamas calypso group w/ a funk(ish) tune on that one, but it's been a while.

Soul/funk tinges but nothing that goes far enough to be captivating IMO. Pretty average as calypso goes.

    K in Canada.

i found this private press looking thing yesterday

if anyone knows about it tell me please?

i popped this on the portable

its got heaters on it...all womens rock group or something called the New Haven/Chicago Womens Liberation Rock Band- Mountain Moving Day

    wowsers

    also copped these 2...slow day

  • I don't think Mountain Moving Day is private, literally... but it's a cool record no doubt.

Pretty common in lesbian/feminist concentrations ie SF, Pacific Northwest, Park Slope, Western Massachusetts, etc. Sells for $15-25, on a good day.
