Got a bunch of nice things today but by far the wildest was danser's inferno for 5 dollah (first pressing).
Do people like this? It's already been offered to finish up a trade, if not that, then it's hitting ebay...
i dont like you anymore
Dude it is not that great an album. I listened to the whole thing. I verified the presence of a break. A few points I thought "this is kind of cool" but quickly degenerated into modern soul and poo. Totally baffling.
The best part was when I googled it and found an italian site that described it as "True chicca for collectors from the brave wallett[/b]... DANSER' S HELL has been published in 1973, is much rare and indeed expensive one. Not for all."
I'm about a thousand times more excited about my copies of ray barretto "power" and joe cuba "bustin' out".
and whoever found that lot with the McKinley... whats that Ronnie Rebel record all about? i know all the other stuff but i dont know what that is...
I have the Ronnie Reb somewhere, its a cruise ship singer LP, I think theres a few somewhat funky tracks, or some decent ballads on it, but nothing from what I recall. Not compared to the other shit Breaks-elf pulled this week. But I still kept it. Its one of those type of records I guess.

We can have a coffee party with my danser's inferno and quintessence and argue which one is more overrated.
haha! quintessence is definitely an fest.
Wow.
Nice finds.
Erasmus looks like he's seen better days, though. but regardless....
i love that mckinney record- needless to say, i've never found 3 of 'em. just solo uno para mi...
Exactly. The differentiation by the internet jazz intelligencia between $300 LP and $5 LP is totally baffling.
Collectors from the brave wallett.
Carry on...
The owner would not be happy with the mess I left behind
listening to this right now. insane.
anyone else heard this?
thank goodness for them!
No but I am into that label art.
Flea Market:
Dillard Crume & The House Rockers on Alshire
Rap It V/A on Celluloid with stuff by Phase II, Futura 2000, DST, Fab Five Freddy, etc.
Lloyd McNeill - Tori on Baobab (shitty record in shitty condition)
Glenn Edward Thomas - Take Love
Groove Merchant:
Jackie "Small" Cochran - Summer Fun 12" on Brass Records
try here:
I heard if you saddle up to the owner, he gives you first pickings...
no need to speak on the rare bullet label...
and whoever found that lot with the McKinley... whats that Ronnie Rebel record all about? i know all the other stuff but i dont know what that is...
ouch! good finds man.
my record store searches were futile today.
Speaking of Galt.....look what I found.
It has the best hook evar..
"We know where the dead bodies are/we know where the dead bodies are"[/b] Sang so cheerfully.
