    MoWax Heads 2A boxset

    ...and for free too!

  • Are all the tracks on that new Mulatu 10" previously unreleased? Thats one of the only SOundways I don't own yet. FUcking awesome label, and I can't wait to see what's to come.

It's a really raw 10". Two of the tracks are very latin influenced, the last one has some amazing guitar. Sound quality isn't great but the music is there for sure. A must buy. Already have the tracks recorded to my iPod and NO you can't have 'em, give Miles your $!

You passed on this for $20? Unless you already have it (and maybe even then)

I picked it up on Friday for just a tad more than $20 and was quite happy.

  • finally arriving in the mail after many many weeks of waiting...

  • Me and Bape_Dunks raided another storage and walked away with a packed uhaul box of wackies, studio one, clocktower, wildflower, and other sundry. Too tired to take pictures.

Reggae section of the shop is on smash.

    Personal take homes:

Johnny Osbourne - Truths & Rights
Abyssinians - Satta Masagana (sp?) original JA... long time personal grail
Dennis Brown - Sitting & Watching 12" on Taxi (not rare, but a personal fave)

Not only did I pass on it for 20...
I also passed on a copy for 30 at the flea when I found it digging with homie bapt just a week before I found the other one...

I'm low on cash right now, I'm def gonna pick up the one for 20 soooooon.
I should have put it in some odd crate doh

  • Guys, that Irma Thomas is really not more than a $30 record (at most). Don't kill yourselves over passing on a $20 copy.

Is it even worth a damn musically?

I mean, Irma can kill it, but isn't it on Swamp Dogg's generally weakass label?

At the risk of offending some of the good folks in this thread, I've always found that album to be pants. PANTS!

it's worth a damn, you may not want to listen to it all the time or pay more than $20 for it, but it is worth listening to a few times...not brilliant from start to finish, but there are hair-raising moments.
"wish someone would care" is a different version than the 45.
