I'm always looking for this 12" as well...

Hah! I somehow knew that was the song you were looking for just by reading your first post tho. Love the Kon mix...really looking forward to it.

I'm hanging tight here still in Tokyo, but monitoring a few different news sources and checking this often: http://park18.wakwak.com/~weather/geiger_index.html Might take off for the long weekend with wifey just to have a couple days with …

Christ, it just occurred to me there was a guy here who was making his first visit to Tokyo ...8th to 18th or something? You OK buddy?
-
Glad I saw this! I'll swing by the record fair, hopefully.

I think there are some Japanese ones, so I'd bet they're done properly. The no-name vinyl reissue I have of Doug Carn's Adam's Apple actually has a part where the CD from which they mastered the record SKIPS! (...if I recall properly)

Best of all...this is the B-side: Has anyone seen this? It's not on any of the discographies online and I can't find any trace of it otherwise.

Anyone ever seen this before? Bootleg of some sort? Wonder how the sound is.

I've only had good experiences with sellers. Aleit in particular.

RIP. I interviewed her a few years back and she was endlessly interesting and sincerely kind.

Ah, I see... Norman Cook did the Family Tree mix/edit. What I'd like to know is who originally did the edit of Skye - "Ain't no need" for the Anada 12"? Which, again, is pure sweet fireball dance-floor thunder.
-
Can't see either of the pics above, but someone told me Norman Cook as well. But sounds like that's a different one from the Ananda 12" we're talking about?
-
The Skye side is CLEARLY the cut. Original 45 version is nice and sweet too. There were new copies being sold in Tokyo a few years back. White sleeve with the pasted on xerox label. BTW, who originally did this edit of it?
-
Oh, I have no idea. I was just hoping for 12"s of this stuff thru BBE or something, i.e. Dim's recent Philly project.
-
Let me just bump this up again. These mixes are bonanzers. AAAHHH, that Square Biz and the Benson and Cerrone... so good. Really looking forward to these coming out -- and hopefully 12"s?? Fantastic stuff.
