Think I was was misinformed about WOH on sale.. not yet available so keep your peepers open. We bought tickets in April last year and they were still on sale in July.

Go! WOH was honestly the best festival I've been to and I've worked on a lot of festivals... Amazing and varied music, and genuinely the best vibe helped by a lot of loved up people and a lot of serious dancing. Some highlights for me were Brian, Ma…

At first I thought TikTok was for animal life shortcuts programs and materials videos only but now that I find there's dancing teenagers and stupid young people sitting in the application it's been ruined for me.

Static from those micto cloths can be fierce. For me what works is to only wet the cloth really lightly - literally a few drops of water ,- then wipe and let it evaporate. No static.

Leo Slayer would have been even better.

You're meant to check the tracking weight and adjust to match etc. I tend to just drop the arm in the space between the record and the arm rest and let it bounce a bit - if it bounces sideways a little then I adjust the anti-skate until it doesn't. …

There are gems on every LP but Blossom's records fall into two boxes for me - late 50s to the mid 70s where the records featured a lot more standards and covers than the Daffodil period from the late 70s onwards where she was more focused on origin…

If you make it as far as Redwood City then visit The Record Man. Hundreds of thousands of records to sift through. They use eBay for pricing but are open to negotiation.

Esther Phillips, Ella, George Benson, Lee Perry, Groove Holmes Bill Evans and Jack McDuff are all in the 20+ bracket... McDuff must knocked out a ton of shite in the 70s. Some real horrors on his bit of the shelf .

I hardly ever buy new vinyl but the Screamers, Bangers and Cosmic Synths comp on Triassic Tusk was too good to miss.

Ironically, people there say Saigon again these days - full circle. Saigon's worth 2/3 days but it's also the starting point for various Mekong Delta tours, anything from a few hours to a few days. Recommended, although not sure how I feel about the…

I'm sure the locals on here will hip you to the requisite tog factor. When I've been there at that time it's always been a bit nippy but never proper Scott of the Antarctic. I also like it also when the cold does come in and the city goes troglodyte…

Listening now - don't recognise much but it's nicely eclectic with a great flow, cheers.

It's by Peter Brewis who did a ton of TV comedy music in the 80s/90s. Not sure if it has a name. The Young Ones end theme?

Every single person in our Stockholm office has a major snus habit - they pop one after the other all day long. I have tried it and it's just as rank whatever flavour they spray on it. Trying to buy cigs late one night in a 7-11 revealed one brand f…

New to me but really enjoying this so thanks. I'm having bit of an 80s funk revival and dragging all sorts of stuff out the cupboard at the moment - Starpoint, Kashif, Brick etc and this fits right in.

That's like saying we still have crime, so what's the use of the old bill? And when was the last war in Europe that involved EU member states?

Too depressing for words.
