Among other things, a new bill would make U.S.-based Internet companies legally liable for links to or publication of any pirated material. Such a bill would have likely prevented useful sites, like soundcloud, from getting up and running.

i just phoned up my senators from PA. took me 10 minutes. i used this to make it easy:

I've even noticed a huge change in my google results when searching for artists. Less and less am I able to find info on artists/records without the top results pointing to some moot discogs bio or amazon mp3.
