Among other things, a new bill would make U.S.-based Internet companies legally liable for links to or publication of any pirated material. Such a bill would have likely prevented useful sites, like soundcloud, from getting up and running.

This is real serious.
I would definitely think about serious changes to be made.
This is going to fuck over so many people in so many countries.

My understanding is that under SOPA his site can be shut down without notification or due process.
SOPA is popping back up. all draconian-like.
