question for the utrecht fair specialists

hello to all,

i've had a conversation with a dealer not so long ago.
I told him i was going to utrecht next april 2012 and he told me absolutely sure of himself that the april edition of utrecht was pack full of the unsold stuff from november. while i guess it's quite unlikely i came here to seek explanation.
i was planning to get there this next november but my pockets too empty i'm reporting it til april anyway so hope i'm in the right.

    isnt every record fair full of the unsold stuff from the previous one?
    that said i am sure there is a lot of new stuff though, there are so many sellers i think your friend is talking bullshit
    but i'm no expert

    looks like it
    this sort of vicious circle seems a bit unlikely as there's no such thing as a dead season for vinyl..

    anyone else confirming this ?

    i've set up there 14 times
    your friend is full of it
    fall may seem better as euroman returns from arc/wfmu with many new raers
    but
    some dealers suck & bring the same thing to each fair (over priced & un moved)
    others bring complete new selections each time
    etc

    p.s. 2K+, you can also smoke giant spliffs while you browse.

    then i suppose the real question is which of the two annual editions gets the biggest spliff lighted at the end.

    i hear ya ... just wish i hadn't slept in the car last time i went there. one pretty big mistake.
