Quote:h, 21b, 21Ako:b, 21b, 21Not being a drummer, I've always been curious about this - are some patterns more "fun" to play, as far as breakbeats go? b, 21b, 21h, 21
b, 21b, 21now that is a tough question to answer. for me the most fun pattern to play FAST and modify as i go is just the basic Amen Brother beat. i could just jam on that for days and days and days and days.b, 21b, 21playing fast is fun, basically.
any other requests? i really enjoyed doing these last night.
Awesome thread! Glad for the bump as this predates my presence here.
If I may be so bold. I'd love to hear a clean version of this beat if you're inclined. This is one of my favorite drum sounds and you get a very similar feel with your set up (if you still have it).
its been 3 years but i think i will fulfill those last few requests this week. forgot about this thread! always thought i did them all.
Those breaks are off the hook mang.
Plaese to rep the model of the Sony tape recorder you copped that raw analog sound with ?
dont remember the model, but im pretty sure it's the first portable mono cassette recorder sony made in the 60s for dictation. ultra heavy unit. i have it at my house (im out of town) so i can check when i get back.
