Who does the version of "Hey Joe" about 01:00 into Track 10?
YES!
Workin at the shop today, pulled this Fever Tree record to listen to. I thought the side-long version of "Hey Joe" looked promising, and sure as shit, there it was.
Now that I've figured out the Hendrix version and the Fever Tree, my most wanted ID is: "GOTTA PAY BILLS....". I'm guessing the song is called "BAil Out"? Sounds very Sly-ish but I don't think it's him...

Just so you know, I did post this question in its own thread, which was a bit of a bonehead move considering that this is the aeiou thread. sorry
hope someone can help me out
thanks for listening..
The first track is on the delay psych mix too. I'll try and dig it out i think you may be right with "Ars Nova". If it is Ars Nova then its on the lp with the yellow sleeve on atlantic.

Well I was asking Wes to give me that Usha Uthup record last night so that probably carried over into my dreams. But at one point the Spirit record was playing in my dream (very appropriate) and one point I was running and the Tom Scott was playing.

cos, the usha is good for about fifteen seconds then tails off hard, from what i remember
"Ouch, Tony. That just completely ruined my fantasy..."
This sounds like something I'd overhear on the train and prick up my ears (ouch!).
But it's funny that this thread should resurface now, because just the other day on the youtubes I stumbled across an acceptably smooth two-minute edit of Jefferson Starship's "Miracles" that basically chops it down to just the intro and the incrementally intensifying choruses, blessedly excising the Levitra-informed drizzle of the verses. It's everything I want to hear from that song and none of what I don't; it immediately made me think of all the simple but perfect edits on AEIOUII, and made me smile in the same way.
The only sample-type contribution I can make here is that the cover art is from the Making Music Your Own textbook.
Hey, what's the source of that intro on there with the dusted-sounding lady talking about "Kewl out...we had to get into the grewve"? I say that shit all the time and have no idea where it's from. All I can think of is the lady from The Brady Bunch who's always saying "It's like beyonnnnnd...bi-ahhhh-nic!" (later referenced on some Redman cut, I think?), but I know that's not it.
yo ray....thats the one. Hush Now is the best song everrrrrrrrrrr
JAmes..the dusted lady is from a Marmaduke kids record. there was an"episode" where they were in a recording studio, marmaduke starts barking and it becomes a hit record.

5:24-6:40 dave pike set - mathar
6:41-7:46 ???
7:30 can - "mushroom" off tago mago"
I just had to make an account here to ask.
Great site btw seems like a new home to me. xD
Found this song on an old CD-R and I'm 99% sure it's on AEIOU II but I don't know the name of it. Any help?
"Feelin' strange sensations... familiar old vibrations... somehow I knooooow your radiations... to the core
A circle with no ceasin'... a lover's bond with no releasin'... I see your exits are increasin'...but what for?"
(Oddly enough, SoundHound ID'ed it as "Pony" by Annette Peacock.)

Sorry, can't help you with that track (would like to know myself) but can fill in the gap for 6:41 to 7:46.....The Bob Seger System ??? White Wall off The Bob Seger System S/T LP
Can anyone id who does the version of the Garden Of Eden track? I have the version by New Riders Of The Purple Sage but this isn't their version on AEIOU2.
'Hey, look in the air...there's smoke filling everywhere' etc

Co-sign, one of my top 20 favourite LP's.
Just been listening to the Inner Dialogue (Ranwood) LP today and that reminds me of the Nancy Priddy LP at times....song structure, melodies, production. Free Design meets Nancy Priddy to my ears.

..its been wrecking my head trying to identify the following 2 tracks of the aeiou mixes:
From aeiou one
Track 1 (the first sample you hear, not the second which it flows into - I think was already identified as an Ars Nova track)
From aeiou two
Track 2
Just so you know, I did post this question in its own thread, which was a bit of a bonehead move considering that this is the aeiou thread. sorry

Son of Spirit / Other Song
...and Craig, if you can shed any light on the first sample, I'd be eternally grateful, and yeah, it def leads into Ars Nova (Please Don't Go Now)
Cheers Guys
I got a spare of this LP... holler if interested. There's 3 solid tracks I'd say.
Thanks for the upload, if I can ever get it of balls ass rapidshare.
EDIT: nevermind. 5th times a charm.
