GREAT interview. I'll be spending the day with Bob James in a couple weeks and I will talk to him about Soulstrut and this interview. Detroit homie Dave McMurray on the flute!

I'm guessing when Biz watches the calling out vid it will be followed by the biggest "Oh Snap" in history.

Great job homie. It was great to see his eyes light up when you told him about hip hop starting in 74'
I think it helped him understand sampling alot more. You asked all the Mardi Gras questions I always wanted to ask him too...

  • awesome job. That was a very good interview. You did a good job bringing stuff up so it wasn't like you were just coming at him wtih rap type questions. He really seemed interested. I wish I could see DJ Scratch's and Biz's reaction to theses videos lol. Great stuff.

1 hour of my day WELL SPENT.
    A+
bob's realization of hip hop occuring as his records were being released and used AT THE TIME: priceless, really don't think he realized that his tunes were part of hip hop's foundation at the time, since he didn't become aware of hip hop's existence till the 80's
