Other than seeing musicians that are long dead I can't think of a damn thing.

    Family? Friends? I don't know, but 24 hrs isn't that long really.

    Only something vital to my family's well-being. I can't think of anything material like an iPhone that I would wait in a 2 hour line for, let alone 24 hours. Life is too short.

    it seems like many people in my neighborhood wait 3+ hrs to eat at iHOP. no clue why....

    there is a legit diner 2 blocks away with way better breakfast

    only New Yorkers. The pharmacy and supermarket is all "next person on line please". When I moved here I kept wanting to correct them, but I was wrong.

    Other poasts have now made it clear that by 'wait on line', you actually meant physically 'wait in line'. I'm lucky enough not to have had to wait for anything like humanitarian aid, food, water etc. but I would do it for essentials or family. I'm guessing people are queuing up overnight for what, I-Pads, or is it Drake CDs?

    Just waited 17 hours to pick up a friend from Central Booking... I think I would've stayed 24 if needed.
