That's why he uses the purple syrup imagery on the cover, right?

Just buy an 8ball & MJG cd already.

I'm not even trying to knock the guy all that much for putting the mix together.

It's just this rework Southern rap in some way that will both detatch it from its original audience and make people who typically hate Southern rap think they are hip for now having an excuse to like at least one remixed cd of it fresh crap in the crapper crap that I just LOATHE.

    Haha man

Good music, bad music. It all changes by genres mingling and influencing each other. People partying to some of these tracks doesn't mean you cant go listen to some Screw, UGK or whatever.

Perhaps its comes off as wrong when you miss the oringal style how these edits and mixes are made. No reason you cant try something different.

I'm just sharing some stuff people might enjoy, not sure why you're offended by this.
If you dont like it, don't eat it

People who use the adjective "south" to describe rap from the south are like those Republicans who speak of the "Democrat" party.

And let's be clear about the intended demographic for this release

I like this kind of thing, considering I did it myself before my laptop broke, even if it was with lounge music and easy listening.

My real question is when did it even become remotely cool to like TRANCE MUSIC???

Come to Europe, and you'll see Trance synths are now everywhere..

Actually forget what I just said
Its all over the place and if used in proper contact I must say I'm down

  • i'd like to hear some of these tracks on their own,

also some of them sound like they need to be (more?) professionally mastered, or maybe a higher bitrate mp3 is all that's needed.
