hehe no the waltel branco is the mr bongo reissue, it's dope though; exactly my kind of record. Yeah vila sesamo is definitely slept on but this copy gave me the old brazilian record condition anger, even after cleaning it up it has constant surface noise throughout, but i mustn't complain for the price i paid for it The Jorge Ben is kinda slept on too- very similar to africa brazil and real easy to get.
Sorry to hear that your Vila Sesamo copy is noisy. Did you pay cheap for it? I hope so. I never heard that Ben's record. It's from his Banda do Ze Pretinho phase and it's too upbeat to my taste.

yeah all apart from the waltel, G*y is that dude- all the brazilian heads should try and source from him instead of the ebay dealers; friendly, fast and cheap=

i paid ??6 for vila sesamo so i'm not worried, i'll get another copy easily. Give the jorge ben record another listen, ok its not with trio mocoto and its more pop sounding but its not bad, not a negro e lindo/forca bruta but still a good album.
