what's that pillow talk LP like? It's been at my local spot for a few weeks now but I haven't bothered listening.

There was a huge backyard fleamarket in my neighbourhood yesterday. Approximately 150 houses had their backyards open and neighbours were selling stuff. I just managed to see the half of it till it started to rain. Later stepped in our own yard to sell some records myself and was able to bring in all my expenses. Good day.

Project: Comstock is a bootleg but sounds very good.

Extremely happy about the London Posse.

I had high hopes on the Ike Turner Family Vibes. But didn't feel it on the first listen. Have to give it another chance. To much guitarplaying in my ear.

My third copy but for 60 cent I had to take it.

Flipside is Lilian Atterer (Miss Germany 1968) singing "Weil ich sexy bin".

I wanted these for a long time. A big help when mixing up 45s.

This was my favorite book but I never had an own copy. Finally this is my first.

Minisize synth played with a pen-like device. It squeaks and is fun to play with.

last big dig before winter for me, as travelling for work starts up. back into the insane soul collection... everything minty clean vinyl, just stunning. theres more to go (possibly the sickest of the batch) but dude is being a dude and putting it away till im back. Also some killer kiddie HBR mint promos from another collection. 45s are from a different source, endless boxes of old radio station stuff.

Rolf Harris steeze. This was a featured 'instrument' on Bowie's "Space Oddity".
    They've started making them again.

I remember this as having one fun track but not enough to keep. I want it back now.

Charity shop, 1977 Greek disco funk for 10p
Looks unpromising but has a banger of a b-side
    Surprise of the year.

    Excellent b-side too - "Scuttlin"

I had high hopes on the Ike Turner Family Vibes (Strange Fruit). But didn't feel it on the first listen. Have to give it another chance. To much guitarplaying in my ear.

You made the right call - there's acid guitar for DAYS on that LP, but that's why I love it so.

It's one of the newly produced models. I just dicovered it has an input. That way you can use it as an external speaker for your ipod/walkman/whatever and playalong with the synth. I had an hour of extremely bad stylophone improvisations over an old tape of mine. Learned to play "Forget Me Nots" and the piano line on Jerus "Me Or the Papes".

  • happy anniversary Holmes and nice records. Karlophone, you are a criminal and must be stopped. Nice up y'all.

I ran up to Eugene w/ my partner. We went to the black sheep gathering, a sheep & wool fair. Knitting, spinning, hanging out. Also dug some records. record stores, antique shops, junk malls, an old barn, and one old lady's closet.

Bonus, my face with a baby goat! Which is also my answer to the beard thread. Goats have beards because that is how their hair grows. I have a beard because that is how my hair grows.

I've been searching for that Eddie Fischer for ages. One day it shall be mine, maybe not at a sheep-fair though.

Mellow/Deep gospel soul moves. Good strong listen thoughout.

Can easily be nabbed for under $15, too.
