I bet he gets arrested for stealing his mistress's car, goes to prison, and ends up leading the convicts in an improbable, heartwarming victory over the guards.

  • Did he cry this time?

  • Nah, he didn't even have a news conference, just called up the office and said he was done. Jets are having a press conf this afternoon to talk to reporters.

I hope Favre stays gone, although it was fun to watch him at the beginning of the season.

"All good things,(sniff) must come to an end. (sob)"

Anybody ever hear the tape when Mike Schmidt retired? They used to play it on Stern. Hilarious! Why do I enjoy stuff like this?

Yes, speak on it. Bonus points if you can incorporate the recession, and herpes.

Is Brett really that big of an A-Hole??

I heard Yaz regularly spits on little kids who ask him for his autograph.

It's not their fault his name is so damn hard to spell.

Nah, it's because he was really just an above-average player for most of his career, with a couple of really good years thrown in the mix and a few bad ones, and the numbers people cite to prove his greatness are really more a result of career longevity than him being one of the greatest players in league history.

Plus, they both have names with a weird letter next to an "r". "V"? "Z"? GTFOOHWTBS.
