    Definitely feeling it!

    I bought their 'Test/4ever' 7" a long while back not knowing anything about them but once I heard Yukimi's voice I knew it couldn't go wrong... she is one of my favorite modern singers...hands down.

    amen I heard her on that Koop track but didn't know it was her
    I think the Little Dragon stuff is way deeper and nice

    usually this is cool , but unnecessary in this case. especially with the "-spidey" signature at the end.... kinda weirds me out.

    absolutely..




    These guys stopped in New London, CT on a Monday night, took over an hour to set up their sound (in a tiny bar where you generally do not need a PA for your instruments ... and they were the opening band) and were visibly annoyed that everyone in the bar was not observing complete silence during their whisper-filled set.

    I do like their videos, though.

    Many many years ago, there was a thread that was something like "Soulstrut Threads You Don't Think Got Enough Shine." Two threads that got multiple mentions were the then-recently-passed "What's Up With Record Dudes And Asian Women?" and "Who On Soulstrut Is A Virgin?"

    I don't know why I remembered that just now, but it seemed pertinent.

    there was that triple 5 soul ad thread where i'm sure there was some record dude/asian women discussion that i'm pretty sure i got crazy racist in

    ty 4 the report on live show. i've been burned quite a bit lately so it's good to know. my girl's homegirl's group is opening for ld and we haven't seen them yet so it works out great.
