Music in Starbucks

Okay folls, usually when I walk into Starbucks the music they are playing is so wack that I can't wait to get out of there with my Americano. I walk into Starbucks a few minutes ago and the SECOND I walk in the door my head starts noddin'. I'm trippin' cause this never happens. I'm thinking WTF is going on? Donnie Hathaway and Roberta Flack's "Back Together Again" is on. DOPE joint! So I'm waiting for my coffee quietly singing along with Donnie and Roberta. Then as soon as the song ends, The Godfather's "Cold Sweat" comes on! As soon as the horns kick in I'm like AWWWWWWWWWWWW SHIT!!!!! I almost dancin' in that bitch. What is the best song you have ever heard in a coffee shop?

    In an Anthropolgie (Mrs. Saba was shopping) they were playing some mix with Brazilian Octopus and a Wilson Simonal track, and it gave me a weird sinking in my stomach.

    in a coffee shop? nothing comes to mind, but there's a new shopping center that has outdoors seating and they bump Pete Rock instrumentals in between songs...

    I went into one off the 5 around LA and they were playing a track off King Tubby Meets Rockers Uptown (of course then followed by a Bob Marley track but it was at least an early raw track) - I think that's about as good as it has ever gotten in there for me.
