My parents pre-baby boomer generation was called the Silent Generation for a variety of reasons. This was the generation that really realized the prototypical "American Dream" of home and auto ownership. b, 21b, 21Their goal was to make sure their children had all the things they didn't like job opportunities and a college education. They spoiled the heck out of their kids, the Baby Boomers, and the very conservative lifestyle the Silent Generation lived was rebelled against by the spoiled Baby Boomers.b, 21b, 21baby Boomers were the first generation that didn't have to work their ass off...and the quality of their work went down the tubes as well.
