I'm not hating, but IMO, it's not as solid a release as people are alluding to here. Outside of the songs that I really dug, the rest were complete FFWD fodder. I think I am with you Day. It's the modern sound with a bit of the flava from the days when you would have been waiting for any Tribe related album to drop. Or at least me. I was a huge Tribe fan before it became the cool thing to do. Then I was a closet Tribe fan. I can't talk about things with people when they are popular most of the time. I become jaded against my own liking then. I will say for new "Hip Hop" it has hit the spot a bit.
