    It's okay but Monday's episode of Colbert Report was the best I've ever seen.b,121b,121object width="512" height="296"1param name="movie" value="http://www.hulu.com/embed/91oUhs62pKg8flGB4JV4kw"1/param1embed src="http://www.hulu.com/embed/91oUhs62pKg8flGB4JV4kw" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="512" height="296"1/embed1

Yeah, the way he got that conservative columnist to basically admit she is voting for Obama was borderline genius.

  • ehhhh, that internet episode was tepid at best. i thought the whole wagon trail, gold rush plot was sorta funny but for the most part there wasn't much LOL'ing.

font class="post"1b,121b,121I couldn't watch the whole thing because my connection is too slow. But what I saw was not wagon trail gold rush, it was dust bowl migrants. b,121b,121I think if you watch Grapes of Wrath, and then go back and watch this episode it might be funnier. b,121b,121I don't have cable so I have only seen dozen or 2 episodes. I recently saw one where Oprah's Vagina was a character.

font class="post"1b,121b,121honest to god everytime i pass by a hooters and hear one of the waitresses i can't stop but think of the raisins episode, THEY ALWAYS SOUND EXACTLY LIKE THEM. b,121b,121"good times with weapons" was face melt to me, how they pulled off the anime and what they did to poor professor chaos. b,121b,121other faves are "simpsons did it" and when they took on family guy "you think that's bad..."b,121b,121and as a canadian, i LOVE Canada on strike "i'm not your friendddd guyyyy!"b,121b,121b,121but i agree with the poster above who said they progressively get better...i love how they make extreme opposing points of view so ridiculous yet appliciable to current events...and the show is such a genius medium with the ease of how quick they can make an episode (i think its a week). i think south park is the closest thing to a pop cultural time capsule. watching the last ten years of episodes ten years from now will be hilarious from a nostaliga point of view...

oh and the scientology episode with r kelly in the closet and tom cruise in the closet, hahah "tom cruise, just come out of the closet" laughs for days...and in the credits they did something like list all the members as john doe so they couldnt get sued, mockingly. can't believe THAT was the one episode that managed to get pulled off comedy network. too many great episodes, cartman forming a christian rock band comes to mind as another fav.

font class="post"1b,121b,121When this episode first aired, my old roommate and I had to pause the Tivo after they shifted from the anime to the static shot of Butters with the throwing star stuck in his eye because we were both falling out laughing. My sides actually hurt afterward because I laughed so hard.

"It turns out there is such a thing as a ???South Park Republican??? after all. Nielsen???s IAG service, which measures how ???engaged??? people are with television programs, has identified the cable shows that Democrats and Republicans are watching most closely. It transpires that the show that Republicans are most engaged with is ???South Park.??? Not surprisingly, the show that Democrats watch most closely is ???The Colbert Report.???"b,121b,121a href="http://blog.nielsen.com/nielsenwire/media_entertainment/do-dems-and-gopers-respond-to-tv-shows-differently/" target="_blank"1http://blog.nielsen.com/nielsenwire/medi...ws-differently/

the lord of the rings episode is up there on the "best episodes ever" with the little kid in his stormtrooper helmet at the fellowship meeting.b,121b,121"eek a penis" had me rolling pretty hard. and "super fun times" western characters who refused to break character were great.b,121b,121"major boobage" (the cat pee / heavy metal) episode is also golden.b,121b,121there's a lot of classic stuff i'm forgetting too.b,121b,121but i am glad that south park has staying power.
