So one of my bosses came up to me today and told me there was a job opening in Winnipeg, Canada, and sort of suggested I go for it. I don't know exactly when a chance to "move up" in my current spot in Chicago would present itself and I am willing to consider a move, but Winnipeg? b,121b,121For the brethren north of the border, is this something I should even consider? I know Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver are all fairly poppin', but what about Winnipeg? Is it a decent cultural center, a fully-functioning metropolis? Or something to be avoided? b,121b,121Any inside info is much appreciated.

Winnipeg is pretty shitty.b,121b,121I've only been there once myself. But a very good friend of mine is from a small town outside Winnipeg and he hates going back. Not a lot of culture. It's cold as F*ck in the winter.b,121b,121I think Winnipeg and I think of the colour grey.1That about sums it up.
