    Feel Like Making Love

I find myself always taking the latter option of listening to this tune or the clawing of fingernals down a blackboard. I dunno, I just find it cheesier than a tramp's bell-end.

re: "Call Me", what about the Dave Spikey "Phoenix Nights" tribute; "Corned Beef"?

"If you're feeling rather hungry, hey there's a product you'll remember.
Eat it hot or cold on Sunday, or you can put it in a blender.
Corned Beef, with chips or with salad, It's
corned beef - even Buckingham Palce eats
    corned beef....

Hey why don't you try corned beef hash!"?

now that is good, almost worthy of John Shuttleworth himself - "I can't go back to savoury now" - related.

How can you hate on Feels Like Making Love???
Check Ricardo Marrero's and (especially) Ana Mazzotti's take for some downbeat misty-eyed lazy funk action. Makes me hornier than Ken Livingston at 9am after a night on the turps. Sorry to ruin your lunches.....!

I feel like there could always be a bad version of any song.

Not to hi-jack the thread, but I wonder if anyone can think of any songs that have been covered at least a few times where nothing could be as bad as the original.

For some reason, it's hard to think of a horrible version of Ain't No Sunshine (DMX version not included), but I'm sure it exists.

I've only encountered like 5 versions, but "hey joe" always seems to stand up to covers.

this got me thinking, and here is the considered reply:

Paranoid: the Dickies > Black Sabbath
Banana Splits : the Dickies > og tv theme
Nights in White Satin : the Dickies > Moody Blues
Sound of Silence : the Dickies > Simon and Garfunkel
    Silent Night : the Dicki.....

    you get the picture
btw, I'll dispute the assertion that there can be a bad version of certain songs.
Some are so well crafted that they cannot be damaged by a reasonably sane and skilled artisan. They are, effectively, bullet-proof.

'Call Me' is my prime example.
But I'd sure be interested to hear a bad version...

WSOP has over 800 covers known. Gotta be some tripe in there.

    Knock on Wood?
